چکیده
Nanofiber membranes are widely employed to prepare composite filter media. The traditional method of hot pressing may damage the structure nanofiber membrane, and thus increase pressure drop through filter. In this study, three-dimensional PET/TPU (polyethylene terephthalate/thermoplastic polyurethane) filters (PET/TPU-CNF) with beads-on-string were fabricated by one-step co-electrospinning. Besides a stronger adhesion strength 1.385 N/cm between membrane substrate, PET/TPU-CNF presented low 28.96 Pa filtration efficiency 83.64% for ambient particles at face velocity 5.3 cm/s. A high tensile 4.33 MPa was measured membrane. Thanks structure, both mechanical properties performances enhanced compared pure PET present study provides new route improve coated filters.

Studies of Interfacial Interaction between Polymer Components on Helical Nanofiber Formation via Co-Electrospinning
Helical fibers in nanoscale have been of increasing interest due to their unique characteristics. To explore the effect of polymer type on helical fiber formation, three polymer systems, Poly(m-phenylene isophthalamide) (Nomex)/polyurethane (TPU), polystyrene (PS)/TPU and polyacrylonitril (PAN)/TPU are used to fabricate helical nanofibers via co-electrospinning. Differential scanning calorimetr...

INTRODUCTION: Restoration of acquired, congenital, or age-related soft tissue defects using autologous or implantable materials can cause donor site morbidity, infection, device failure, and fibrosis. Injectable fillers are limited by variable resorption and fat grafting causes necrosis in large volumes. An alternative approach using the body’s regenerative capacity and an injectable synthetic ...
متن کاملElectrospinning collagen and hyaluronic acid nanofiber meshes.
Collagen and hyaluronic acid (HA) are main components of the extracellular matrix and have been utilized in electrospinning; a technique that creates nanosized fibers for tissue scaffolds. A collagen/HA polymer solution was electrospun into a scaffold material for osteoporosis patients who have reduced bone strength. To synthesize nanofibers, a high voltage was applied to the polymer solution t...
